Mercedes McNab was born on March 14, 1980 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. When she was 9 years old, Mercedes told her parents she wanted to act, which led them to relocate in Los Angeles. By the time Mercedes was 10, she has landed an agent and has scored her first acting role as a girl scout in the hit film “The Addams Family.” In 1993, Mercedes also had a small role in the film’s sequel “Addams Family Values.”
However, it was only in 1997 did Mercedes McNab land on her breakthrough role in the fantasy drama series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Although she originally auditioned for the character Buffy, a role that went to Sarah Michelle Geller, Mercedes still joined the cast. From 1997 to 2003, McNab played the role of Harmony Kendall. In 2001, she made a one-episode guest appearance on the Buffy spin-off “Angel.” Two years later, after her quick hiatus from the entertainment industry to focus on school, Mercedes McNab became a regular cast member of “Angel,” reprising her role as Harmony Kendall from 2003 to 2004.
Other film credits of Mercedes McNab include “The Fantastic Four,” “Savage Land,” “Miles from Home” and “Hatchet.” Mercedes has also appeared in numerous TV shows, such as “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr,” “USA High,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Walker, Texas Ranger,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “Boston Public” “Run of the House,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Reaper” and “Supernatural.”
Mercedes McNab appeared in the January 2004 issue of FHM magazine and has graced the cover of Playboy magazine’s November 2006 issue. In 2007, Mercedes was voted one of 25 Sexiest Celebrities by Playboy Magazine.
