Mercedes McNab began her acting career at age 10. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, her family moved to Los Angeles to support the young Mercedes’ dream of becoming an actress. After landing an agent, the 10-year-old Mercedes McNab bagged her first work on the 1991 hit film “The Addams Family,” playing a young girl scout. After a one-episode role on “Harry and the Hendersons,” Mercedes McNab had another small role as Amanda in the 1993 film “Addams Family Values.”
In 1994, Mercedes McNab played the young Susan in the fantasy film “The Fantastic Four.” That same year, she appeared on the adventure flick “Savage Land,” and played Shannon Trahern in an episode of “The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.” In 1997, Mercedes portrayed Claudia Spencer in the made-for-TV film “Escape from Atlantis.” That same year, McNab landed her breakthrough role in the fantasy drama TV series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” portraying Harmony Kendall from 1997 to 2003. During this time, Mercedes also appeared on other TV shows such as “USA High,” “Touched by an Angel,” “Walker, Texas Ranger,” “Dawson’s Creek,” “Boston Public” and “Run of the House.”
In 2001, Mercedes McNab as Harmony Kendall had a guest role in the ‘Buffy’ spin-off “Angel.” After attending school from 2001 to 2003, she became a regular cast member for the show’s final season in 2003-2004. After her work on the series, Mercedes appeared in two 2006 films – “Miles from Home” as Ginger and “Hatchet” as Misty.
In 2007, Mercedes McNab had a guest role on the TV shows “Crossing Jordan,” “Reaper” and “Supernatural.” That same year, she was seen in a comedy flick entitled “The Pink Conspiracy,” followed by the drama film “Thirst” in 2008. Also in 2008, Mercedes had roles in the comedy-thriller “Dark Reel” alongside Edward Furlong, the thriller flick “XII” and the made-for-TV horror film “Vipers.” She also had a guest role on the TV show “Psych.” McNab was last seen in 2009 with a guest role on “Criminal Minds.” She will be seen on the 2009 film “Medium Raw: Night of the Wolf” and the 2010 made-for-TV movie “Glass Heels.”
Mercedes McNab appeared in the January 2004 issue of FHM magazine. In 2006, she posed for the cover of Playboy magazine’s November issue.
